“I walked as a solo, female hiker for a week of the Camino, from Sarria to Santiago, in July 2009.
Beforehand, I was a little worried about hiking as a single woman, but with all of Garry’s hotel set-ups, baggage transfers, detailed maps, instructions, suggestions, and daily phone check-ups, I felt perfectly safe and taken care of the whole time. There were other hikers who couldn’t find places to spend the night, especially near Santiago, but I always had the best accommodations and everything I needed. Out of all of my world travels, I can honestly say that this one of the best trips I’ve ever taken, and I have recommended you to all of my friends. I miss it a lot and would go back in a heartbeat!”

Everything went very smoothly and the accommodation you selected for us was excellent, both with respect to location and proximity to tourist sites, and for cleanliness, comfort and safety. We followed through and ate at several of the restaurants you suggested and … (it) worked out well for us. For us the pacing was excellent as it was leisurely and unhurried. The maps were a big help in getting us quickly oriented for where we wanted to go. We didn’t have to waste time searching for a tourist office to get directions so that saved us time.”
